The season finale of my current favorite television show, “10 Things I Hate About You,” airs at 8 p.m. Tuesday on ABC Family.
Going in to the Labor Day weekend the cable network had not yet announced whether the series -- a quirky show inspired by a quirky 1999 movie about Kat and Bianca, two very different sisters navigating life, loves and their new high school -- will be back for a second semester.

The season finale of ABC Family's awesome 10 Things I Hate About You airs this coming Tuesday, and since we have to know what happens after that, we rang up show runner Carter Covington for the exclusive scoop on what's in store for Patrick Verona (Ethan Peck), what's keeping Kat Stratford (Lindsey Shaw) and Patrick apart, and where Bianca Stratford (Meaghan Martin) stands with her many men and her ongoing struggle for popularity.

 After her run on Aliens in America, actress Lindsey Shaw soon found herself in the high profile ABC Family TV remake of the cult friendly film 10 Things I Hate About You, playing high schooler Kat Sanford, a role originated by Julia Stiles who starred alongside Heath Ledger back in 1999. Now the 10 Things sister of actress Meaghan Martin, Lindsey Shaw has picked up where her predecessors left off to give a new generation of fans 10 Things I Hate About You Tuesday night comedy with young actors Ethan Peck, Nicholas Braun, Dana Davis, and original 10 Things About You actor Larry Miller.

In the sixth installment of ABC Family’s newest teen series, the Sanford sisters continue to go – and grow – their separate ways.
